Amazing Words of HOPE!!

The Lord inspired me to read from my Bible and some amazing words of Hope were said to me:

"The Spirit of God came upon Azariah son of Eded. He went out to meet Asa and Benjamin. The Lord is with you when you are with him. If you seek him, he will be found by you, but if you forsake him he will forsake you..........But in their distress they turned to the Lord, the God of Israel, and sought him and he was found by them.......But as for you, be strong and do not give up, for your work will be rewarded." 2 Chronicles 15:1-7

"All Judah rejoiced about the oath because they had sworn it wholeheartedly. They sought God eagerly, and he was found by them. so the Lord gave them rest on every side." 2 Chronicles 15:15

My husband and I have been struggling like most of the country with our finances and have given them prayerfully over to God for guidance and deliverance from debt. We are beginning to faithfully tithe and God has sent me a message letting me know he is with us and to not give up.

Hopes for My Near Future

I am striving to increase my realtionship with God. I am changing the priorities in my household and have made my biblical education an important and vital aspect of my life. I have decided to make some small changes and do easy things to make the people in my life closer and dearer and perhaps feel more loved by me.
In the past I have neglected my friends and family emotionally. I get so caught up in the running and doing of everyday tasks that the important and beautiful moments get lost. My babies are growing up and I am missing some of the most amazing moments of my life. Here are some of the things I am doing:

Making Connections:
Take a nap with my youngest daughter Jane (5 yrs old)
Coffee with my sister Laura
Skating with my kids and my niece and her daughter
Weekend with my cousin Melissa
Coffee with Darlene my friend and mentor
Make dinner for my husband Todd
Send cards to some special people in my life that are far away: Camille, Loree, Kelee, Kim
Give a card to my special neighbors that are like adopted Grandparents for my kids: John and Hedi
Play pool with a friend from work

To Do:
Freeze my Credit Cards (literally in a zipbag of water in the freezer)
Use cash for gas and my diet pepsi addiction
Donate clothing and goods to charity
Give to Preganancy Care Center
*Keep Tithing and Keep the Faith*

My Path with God:
Start moving to start the Parish Nurse ministry at my church.
Attend class to become a facilitator for classes at church
Go to Walk to Emmaus in March

These are not resolutions but life changes and my personal to do list for myself and my relationships with those around me. I have many more things that I long to complete and be a part of but I know God will show me when and where.

Immersed in His Grace!!!
